B&B in Fuessen

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive (50-60 Euro) B&B in Fuessen, Germany?

If you will have a car, there is no good reason to stay in Fuessen with so many superior options within an hours' drive. Many of the establishments in Fuessen can charge a premium based soley on their proximity to Schwangau. 50-60 euro a night, however, is a bit below the price range you are likely to find for any B&B in the Alps. You may find a Gasthof, hostel, low-end hotel or private room in this range, but B&Bs tend to cost more.

Try the little village of Horn which is about a 5-10 drive from Fuessen. Many of the little hotels and B&Bs of Horn have a wonderful view of the castles. There are little restaurants dotted around and some of the bigger hotels have restaurants inside. We stayed last year in the Hotel Helmerhof and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wonderful hotel and restaurant.

Jeanne,
I have stayed in the Cafe-Hotel-Pension Neuschwanstein ( in Schwangau) 2 times and it is very clean and the price is extremely reasonable. The rear rooms have a great view of the castle. Here's a web page:
