I'm just curious if I missed some fine print when I made my reservation for a rental car in Spain at the end of May. I got my Visa statement and I've already been charged for it?? I have never heard of paying for a rental car ahead of time. Is that normal practice for Auto Europe?

We have used Auto Europe for a number of years and, yes, it is always charged when we make the reservation. Our experience with them has always been great. Paying for the car ahead of time just leaves more money to spend during the actual trip....
