I am picking up a car in Munich and dropping it off three weeks later in Vienna. I want to travel thru Austria, Slovenia and Croatia. Suggestions for things to see and places to stay??

HI Carolyn, A couple of suggestions. It's a 4+ hour drive to Ljubljana from Munich. One idea would be to take a train from there to either Zagreb or Ljubljana, and then work your way back to Vienna by car. Might be a bit easier. Or, fly from Munich to Dubrovnik and work your way back up the coast. But it's a long drive! Use viamichelin.com to research travel times and routes. Not sure what you are interested in, but my top 3 from each place: Croatia: Dubrovnik, Plitvice, some time by the sea Slovenia: Predjama Castle (super cool!), Postojna caves, boat to the island church on Lake Bled
Vienna: Kunsthistorisches (art) museum, a night at the opera, Karlskirche
