Austria for Easter: But where?

Hello all, I am planning a long Easter weekend holiday (FridayMonday, or even leaving Thurs if I can manage it) and am wondering if anyone has tips on where would be the most magical place in Austria to spend Easter? I have heard Vienna has Easter markets and may be a better decision if the weather turns bad, but I would love to hear more opinions if anyone has some ideas for me. Where might I go to experience the best (warmest, sunniest) weather? I would love to go somewhere more rural for a break since I live in a city but I am worried about the weather being a bit too cold for outdoor activities this time of year. (Also considering Salzburg, Hallstatt, etc)
Thank you!

"Where might I go to experience the best (warmest, sunniest) weather?" The warmest weather would be in Lower Austria, Vienna and Burgenland (particularly around the Neusiedler See). However, if the rest of the country is cool, this area will only be slightly proportionaly warmer. No guarantee of sun or lack of rain anywhere, particularly in spring. If sunny weather is a priority, head to the Mediterranean Basin.
