A few years ago I heard about a program in Austria whereby one can sponsor a cow from a local farm and in return get cheese produced from said cow's milk. I believe I heard it on a Rick Steves TV episode. Can anyone provide any information on this?

Michael, I do remember that episode, but thought it was in Switzerland. You may be able to find it by searching RS episodes on You Tube. Cheers!
