How hot does it get in August in Madrid-Toledo and also Barcelona? And how is the weather in northwest Spain in August from Basque Country to Santiago de Compostela?

It will be sooooo hot in Madrid that everyone will be surviving in the underground portions of restaurants & tapas bars or in the air condioned stores. The lucky ones will be in the northwest enjoying the more comfortable temps. We have a close friend from Madrid and she says that in the summer months even her father did not enjoy living there. Google the weather patterns from past years. The temperatures may not seem that high but there will be NO air movement in these narrow streets. Barcelona has broader roadways and easy access to beaches and breezes.
