We will be in Paris for a week the end of October and I was wondering if anybody has a favorite church in Paris for Mass--doesn't have to be in English.
Do you mean other than Notre Dame Cathedral? It was a very special experience. Enjoy your time in Paris!
I went to hear the mass at St. Suplice when I was last in Paris. The music was wonderful. I'm not Catholic so can't speak to the actual service.
My favorite is the 10:00AM Messe Gregoire in Notre-Dame. Half French, half Latin, completely serene.

We attended Saturday vigil Mass at the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, 140 rue du Bac. The chapel itself is quite lovely. I expected a modest attendance at Mass and was quite surprised at the "full house" of regulars and pilgrims/tourists. You can also see there the incorrupt body of St Catherine Laboure to whom Our Lady appeared in 1830 and a reliquary containing the heart of St Vincent de Paul.
I agree with Jean. I came across Notre Dame de la Medaille Miraculeuse by accident & made a quick decision to attend Mass. I was totally charmed by the church. In 1830, on the site of this chapel, Catherine Laboure, a novice, was said to have visions of Mary who told her to have a devotional medal made. Some of the small medals are nice (& inexpensive) to take home to share with others. The chapel is across from the Bon Marche department store.
It wasn't a Mass, but I enjoyed the evening Vespers at Sacre Coeur. Those nuns really had nice voices! I can only imagine what the mass sounds like.
