We'll be traveling from Guerande south to La Rochelle, and would appreciate any input on where to eat great local food. Going to make a quick stop in Cognac as well...want a tour, but not with the giant distillers. Looking for a unique experience, not a touristy one. Any foodies/wine and spirit fans that can help us out? Thanks!
