Areas of Paris to avoid for apartment renting because of construction?

I want to rent an apartment for one week in Paris in March and was wondering if there are areas in the central arrondissements to avoid because of major construction? I already know about Les Halles area. Suggestions for apartments for two under $200 (preferably <$175) would also be appreciated. I am already looking into Vacation in Paris.

Yves, I've rented from VIP twice. My suggestion would be to contact them with your dates and budget and ask what they have available. They will send you a list. You can then look those apartments up on their website, check reviews, and narrow it down further. Once you have narrowed it down to just a couple, call them and ask about the specific apartments. I've found them to be quite honest. I've rented twice in the 4th which is an area that I like. Like any big city, construction can occur anywhere.

Yves I am renting from Parisbestlodge this summer, they are very well reviewed at tripadvisor.com , and best of all ( to me anyways) they did not require a huge up front payment, only a post dated security check , sent in my funds.
