Are there currently strikes in Belgium or Germany?

I am currently in Barcelona, Spain with a Eurail pass and no real way to see the rest of Europe because of the strike currently going on in France. No train departing from Barcelona is allowed to cross the border into France.

I therefore wish to skip France and fly to Brussels, Belgium. But someone told me they were striking there too. Is there anyone who is Belgian and can verify this? I will obviously not fly there if they are striking there too.

Another option I have is to fly to the Netherlands, and skip both France and Belgium. But someone told me they are striking in Germany also. Is this also true? i don´t want to be stuck between belgium and the germany with no way to use the rails. I will ultimately need to go to Italy for my return flight.

As far as I've read on De Standaard (Flemish online newspaper) and seen on VTM Het Nieuws, strikes in Belgium are currently limited to one of the Socialist unions blockading a petroleum refinery.

I heard something on the radio about some kind of a strike in Germany, but my German isn't good enough yet that I could understand it well...

According to German news, the strikes in Germany are over as of noon today until Friday but the fall-out is still being felt today because of considerable havoc created by the warning strikes.

My husband is in Berlin and he told me that Deutsche Bahn workers were striking today, the 26th, but that things are supposed to be back to normal on the 27th.

There were problems on one day last week with disruption on the rail link between London and Brussels due to strikes in Belgium.
