After visiting Seville we plan to rent a car and spend three nights somewhere before dropping the car off in Granada.
What towns or sights should we be thinking about in this area? Arcos? Ronda? Other? The rest of our trip is in the larger cities without a car, so these three days with a car are our chance to explore Andalucia.
Any suggestions of where to stay or what to do are much appreciated!
With the freedom of a car....why don't you just drive to Arcos,Ronda and Nerja, staying one or two nights in whichever place suits you. They are all fairly close to each (we've just returned). We really enjoyed Ronda, but after reading other posts some people seem to prefer Arcos. Go see what you like!
Haven't been to Nerja, but we really enjoyed both Arcos and Ronda, and were glad we wne to both. Arcos was best of all, though, don't miss it.

Sounds like a solid vote for Arcos.
The only 'lack of freedom' is the need to pre-book a place to stay. My wife insists on that and over the past thirty years has proven to be very wise. Any good hotel experiences?
