Aquariums and Zoos

Has anyone been to the zoo in Madrid or the aquarium in Valencia? We will be in Madrid for 4 days at the end of our 16 RC tour and I thought these might be a nice change of pace. The Valencia aquarium is suppose to be the largest in Europe and is only an hour flight from Madrid. I did look at the website for the Madrid zoo but it was not very informative.

The Valnecia aquarium is better than the one in Altanta, but I'm not sure I'd go all the way there to see it since there's not much else around with a great deal of merit.

I know nothing of or about a zoo in Madrid.
