Any ideas on what to wear/bring for April weather? Thank you.

The weather can be very nice or a little cool depending on when in April you will be visiting. Probably Nice will be warmer. I wore linen pants with t-shirts. Most of the t-shirts had 3/4 length sleeves. I also had two sweaters for the evening in the Luberon area. In past years, I have worn a light weight dark denin jacket. I usually take leather gloves and a hat in case the weather is windy. I also take several scarves to wear with various outfits and one or two pashminas. Since I have bad feet and knees, my shoes are basic ugly walking shoes. There are a lot of cobblestone streets. What type of accomodations will you have? Will they warrant a swim suit? I envy your April trip. I am not going back until September/October.

It might be cooler than you think. Pack a good sweater and perhaps a light trench coat. I always travel with an umbrella and sweater set - to tie a sweater around my shoulders- if it gets cool. If you don't have bad feet - pack a pair of stylish black boots.
