Google self-catering + (Town you want to be in). A sweet little town is Isle sur le Sorge which is a small French Venice with canals and water wheels and easy access to Arles, Avignon, etc. Good luck

Hi Linda, Have a look at http://www.mybeaucaire.com I rented this apartment and enjoyed it. The website represents the apartment very accurately. Beaucaire is well situated for car touring in the area, and is a charming small town.

We have always used Gites.com Very nice, very easy. We have repeatedly stayed in Sablet, which is between Vaison and Avignon. It gives really good access to all the sights by car. We love the town--small, but has a shop for nearly anything you could need. Lots of apartments there.

We have booked with Mas St. Antoine located just outside of Avignon on the road to St. Remy. Pierre is absolutely wonderful and charming...they also offer some "extras" such as providing a light supper in the fridge on your arrival day, a weekly evening by the pool for guests while making your own pizzas, etc. The webiste is www.massaintantoine.com.
