Provence is a very large and diverse area with hundreds of gîtes for rent. Before you even try to
book you should check out a map and decide what areas
interest you most; which towns intrigue you, etc.
SlowTrav has a great list of recommended apartments
and gîtes throughout Provence. The one thing that
is certain is that you should be booking NOW. The
best places in the best areas are often booked up to
a year in advance. Bon chance!
