My friend and I are going to be in Barcelona for 9 days and having a hard time finding a hotel we looked into an apartment. Found one that looks great if a ways off the Rambla and booked it. I am hoping there is some one out there that has done this successfully. I have a horror of getting there and the apt. owner demanding another 500 euros or some other catatstrophy. Can anyone tell me their experience with this way of getting a place to stay?
