We requested an apartment rental for a week in Paris for the first time and the agent sent us a link to a short term rental insurance. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Yes, we've gotten it in the past. I think there is a law but I can't remember exactly. It was only a few euros.

Yep, I pay the insurance every year. It is cheap and it covers you if you burn the place down.
