apartment rental in paris with Slim

Has anyone stayed in the Paris Home apartments? Just wondering how it went. The apartments look nice.

Yes, staying in an apartment makes you feel like a true Parisien. I stayed in an apartment during my last trip to Paris and I loved it, especially if you're near one of the pedestrian-only market streets (eg Montorgueil). I recommend lodgis.com or parisattitude.com. Lodgis is probably a bit more inexpensive.

Hi,

With regards to apartment rentals, I would have to recommend Vacation In Paris from personal experience. We rented through them for a 5 day stay last September. They're an American company, in New Jersey and will send the keys to you before you go.

I can't say one negative thing about them, you would do well to have a look at their website.

Whatever you decide, enjoy, I don't think you can do Paris wrong.

I stayed in one of Slim's apartments last spring. It was very nice; Slim met me as arranged and made sure I was oriented to the amenities in the apartment. I still don't know how to work the double duty machine that is supposed to wash and dry your clothes. Fortunately, there is a laundromat nearby to use for drying things. A lightbulb burned out; I called Slim and he came by promptly to change the bulb. My apartment was on rue Amelie. The location is handy to the metro, stores, shops, and the railroad boutique. I'm not wild about the couch that pulls out into a double bed. It seemed too heavy to maneuver, so I just left it pulled out. Good thing I was by myself. The bed was very comfortable. Large-screen TV and FREE PHONE CALLS to anywhere in the world. Slim told me to leave the place messy because he wanted his house-cleaner to have something to do! For the price, you can't beat Slim's.

Hi Denise, so you got out of Paris already? Have your parents gotten out yet. I thought CDG was still closed?
