Apartment in Arles?

It looks like the decision as been made for France as the upcoming destination. I've been having difficulty finding an apartment for two in Arles for less than a week, and was wondering if anyone knows of anything available? I've checked the major sites like vrbo and the uk ones, but am having a hard time finding one in town for just 5 nights. Any help is welcomed. Thanks,
Jan

I rented this place a little over a year ago: http://www.vrbo.com/128269 I think I rented it for 5 nights too but I ended up paying for the week. It was fantastic though and I will definitely return. There's a great bakery just a few feet from the entrance and one of the best Vietnamese restaurants a stone's throw away. I have the same problem too with renting for a full week as I am sometimes a day or two short, but if you ask the owner, sometimes they give you a break. LOVE Arles! PM me if you need some more info. Glad to help.

Looks nice, but, man, it's already booked for almost all of May ( when I'll be there ). Oh, well...

Yeah...May is popular. There isn't a whole lot of apartments in the city center of Arles either. You may have to settle on a hotel if you are set on Arles. Have you looked at St. Remy? It was 2nd on our list. I wasn't overly impressed with it but I was there in March and I understand it's quite lively after that. There's usually quite a few gites in the countryside too. Driving in that area is pretty easy.

Jan, the standard term for rentals is a week. Perhaps you could make that work for you (though you'd be paying for 2 extra days, it might be better than a hotel). However, if you are to find anything I think it would be for 7 days.

Adam is spot on about the week thing....but always ask! It's rare I can fit into the Saturday to Saturday mold so don't discount a place because they say that is their policy. Most places I stay in say this but I still manage to get them to accommodate my schedule. You never know unless you ask.

Thanks, the both of you. Yeah - it looks like it'll have to be a week, but I'll definitely ask if I can stay for a shorter period. Although, depending upon cost, I'd have to make sure that we wouldn't be eating too much money.
