I am going to Barcelona on Weds. of next week (25th) and will be staying primarily in Sitges. We are considering a day trip to Montserrat. Anyone been and think it is worth the trip?? We will also be going up the Costa Brava for a day as well. Thanks- Kim

while I have not been I know people who have they are swearing by it! So when we go in June I am planning a day trip. We are staying mostly in Sitges as well with two nights in Barcelona!

I went to Barcelona two years ago with my wife and two older children. There is so much to see in do in Barcelona, but I would definitely say that Montserrat is a must see. Took the train from Barcelona without any problems. The rock formations, the Church, and the Black Madonna were all beautiful. We were there in July so the Boy's choir was on vacation, but have heard that is also a highlight.
