Anyone know of any hotels nearby Chur train station

You might consider Hotel Freieck. Although it's in the "old town", it's an easy Taxi ride from the rail station. It's certainly "walkable" but I'm not sure I'd want to do that while hauling luggage.

I walked back and forth to the station a couple of times (much easier once you know the way), and it's a very pleasant walk, although I tended to get distracted by the displays in the stores so often had to stop for a look.

I took the Bernina Express in the other direction about a month ago, and spent a few nights in Chur. Based on my experience, I would certainly recommend the Hotel.

Thanks for the replies. I've got Rick's Switzerland guide which does go over the hotels in town, was just hoping there was something right next to the station since we might arrive in Chur rather late and would rather not be wandering around looking for the hotel in the dark. Thanks again.

Edit* Looks like Hotel Freieck is fully booked the night I want to stay but I did find what I was looking for (with the help of Google maps). http://www.swissqualityhotels.com/en/home.aspx A little pricier and rewiews suggest it's a bit sterile but just a 2 minute walk to the train station.

It's not surprising that the Hotel is fully booked, as this is prime holiday season.
