Twice a year my husband and I stay in Paris for a week or so, then try another city. This year, I want to try Barcelona, where neither of us have ever been. I have fond memories of college in the Loire Valley (caves, Vouvray, chateaux, the city of Tours, etc.) and was thinking there might be some way to drive from Paris to Barcelona (and back?) via the Loire Valley one way, and via - where? - the other way. We've got 14 - 17 days. Any cool ideas, tips, awesome spots to hit? Thanks!
I have many tips! You can do a Loire-Mt. St. Michel-Donostia/San Sebastian/Barcelona while going. On the way back, pass through Andorra and Toulouse!
If you had to pick just one site to help you plan that trip, it would be this one: http://www.viamichelin.co.uk/tpl/hme/MaHomePage.htm
