I've booked a reservation for our trip to Spain next May but I'm not sure I want to stay there now based on other things I have read.
So, can anyone recommend a hotel in Malaga? I'd like to stay under $250 a night and would like to be near the center of town. Does anyone here know of a good hotel like this? Oh, there will be myself, my husband and our 10 year old daughter traveling.

Was in Malaga this past august and stayed at Hotel Castilla, Calle Cordoba.The room was 75 euros a night and the room/hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. It was a quick walking distance to the main shopping street (Larios)and to many nearby sites.

We stayed at the Don Curro in Malaga last summer with our 10 year old. We enjoyed our stay there and its location which is on the edge of a pedestrian district, very close to restaurants and cathedral. We always travel with a sound machine so I can't say if it was loud. but they have a pretty good restaurant and a breakfast buffet with hot food, probably extra, I don't recall. We felt it was in a safe area,too.
