I want to stay in an inexpensive place in Bayeux and this seems to be the least expensive for us (family of seven).
Please let me know if there are any issues with staying here.
Thanks.

I noticed this new post

It looks perfectly fine to me, what with air conditioning, a pool, good looking rooms and rates you feel are acceptable. What do you consider an "issue" ?
Have you checked out tripadvisor.com?? Its not a foolproof way, but I tend to look at the over all reviews when picking a hotel.
Thank you.
Sometimes things are misrepresented online. I am asking because I am not familiar with it and do not know if it is in fact clean, safe, close to the sites, etc., as it advertises.
I am asking here because others can give their informed opinions.
If I see that multiple people posts mold, bedbugs, filth, or even bag neighborhood, I'll know to avoid. If its just rude service, I'll take my chance.
I looked at the review and it seems ok. Nothing major and if its for a night or two, I'd stay there.
How about that farm that Beatrice suggested on your other post ?? It seems inexpensive and can hold larger families.
I tried but no availability - I would love to stay there.
We didn't stay at the Novotel Bayeux, but did walk by it and from the outside it looked well maintained, an American style hotel. It is on the outskirts of town and would be a good walk to the town center.
Hi Cecily: Haven't done the Novotel Bayeux but have stayed at the Nov. Caen which was fine. Typical Novotel and probably more American style than you'll find elsewhere -picture Holiday Inn France. From the Trip Advisor reviews, the one in Bayeux is at least as good as the one in Caen which was more than adequate and the staff were helpful. Clean, no bugs, nothin' fancy, but did the trick -the old 'you get what you pay for' and for a family, got all the requirements.
We stayed at Novotel Bayeux in late March and were very happy with the hotel. My review is posted on Trip Advisor (KKinEngland, Mar 24, 2008).
