Any local, inexpensive restaurants near Charles de Gaulle Airport

Hi, we are arriving later in the day to Charles de Gaulle, and will probably be both hungry and tired (for sure). So the first night we would like to find a restaurant where the locals eat somewhere near CDG airport. Any suggestions?

Are you actually staying out by the airport or are you training in. Also what is "later in the day" to you? If you are flying in from the U.S. direct just pack a good hearty sandwich (low salt since you're flying) to eat before arrival. Freeze your sandwich before leaving for the airport. Things don't spoil that fast, I mean skip the egg salad but really.... I also toss in an apple. Don't take your sandwich (or portions thereof) or any fresh fruit off the plane. Then, once you are in Paris, ah Paris, there are hundreds of options depending on the time of night. After 10 can be kinda iffy depending on the neighborhood.

Ouch! You're right in BigHotelCity. That's the place where people stay on their way out, not on the way in. I've only stayed there once and I'd fed my face before I got there. Bets probably hit the nail on the noggin. Logistically, you may have blown it. You're going to have to either get a taxi or make your way back through the mess at the airport to get into the city. Half of the next day is going to be shot repositioning. 'Late in the day' implies it ain't quite over yet. I'd cancel the reservation, grit my teeth, and get into the city. There's plenty of grub there. Edit: After reading the post above mine regarding 'airport hotel/business campus/logistic park area'.....this is an inaccurate statment and seems to refer to Roissypole which is on the airport complex. There is no business campus or logistic park near the Millenium, it's just rows of hotels and a few restaurants, probably the ones to which Bets alluded. The only other building I've seen on that strip (but know nothing about) is a cultural center of some sort.

Can't help with restaurants but I stayed at the Millennium last year. They have 2 restaurants. Ate dinner in the bistro (less expensive) restaurant. OK food but the service was terrible. Waited and waited for our meal and it wasn't even that crowded.
