I am planning a trip to Austria, Germany & maybe Switzerland. Is anyone aware of scams happening in these areas? I see a lot about scams/pickpockets on the graffiti wall regarding Paris, Italy and Spain, but not much in the areas I plan to travel. Naturally, I will be very guarded, but I am just curious if anyone has had any specific experiences in these areas that I should watch out for.

I've never heard of any real problems in these three countries, first, second or third hand --- but ---- you always need to be careful. I did wear my pocketbook cross body. but didn't feel the need for the money belt. Worried less there than I do in a lot of places in the US of A.
