Any good luge rides in Switzerland?

I have heard a lot about the luge rides in Austria, and I know there must be some in Switzerland, but I never rode on one. On my next trip to Switzerland, I am taking my grandson. I think he would love to do that. Any suggestions on where to luge in Switzerland, we will be staying in the Canton of Wallis. Thanks for all replies.

We saw a nice one near Appenzell in June. I am sure it's still there (ha ha).
I also saw one recently on the telly that went for km's. It looked like it was near the St. Mortiz region. Sorry I can't be more specific as I had a bad back while traveling in June and passed on all the phyical rides.

We rode the luge that is near Gruyeres. We found it when we went up to look at the cheese making place about 5 miles above Gruyeres in Moleson. (it is in the Switzerland book- page 220 in the most recent additon.) They are side by side. We didn't know it was there, but since it was open we went over and took a ride. I don't know how old your grandson is, but he would probably love it. Unfortunately, I have no idea if this is near the Canton of Wallis. Also, the luge rides close in any kind of inclement weather . They have a web site for Moleson (moleson.ch) and if you go to the sport-leisure tab there is a page on the bob-sleigh. It looks like it closes for the season on September 14th, so we will be a week too late this year.

A great summer luge just west of the Walensee (eastern CH close to Liechtenstein). You slide down a long track right next to munching cows. The final leg down the mountain you use trikes or mtn. bikes on a serpentine road.
