Annecy in June

I am considering a day trip to Annecy in June while the film festival is going on. I have no interest in the film festival and I was wondering how much of a hindrance it would be or if it would severely affect my experience there.

Make reservations now. I ran into this once and rooms were scarce but didn't really notice the festival.
