Hi there, I'm thinking of visiting Annecy France from June 14th to June 16th 2013, but have learned that there's an international film festival there that
week (festival occurs annually). Does anyone know if the city is unusually crowded during the annual festival? Would it be worth going another time to avoid the crowds? Thanks! Bill

The Annecy film fest is specific for animated films. It ain't gonna be like Cannes with lots celebrities, paparazzi, and autograph seekers; a low-key affair. They do have a set-up in the middle of town with open-air screenings of some of the films.
