Andalucia in 11 days

Hello, My wife and I are flying into Madrid on the 27th of May and leaving Madrid on the 6th of June. We want to spend a day in Madrid and then head down to Seville, Granada and Cordoba. Then another day in Madrid when we get back. We would like to know in what order would be best to do these three cities down south. Also, how long should we spend at each? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There isn't any magic number for these sights other than Cordoba which is an afternoon or overnight. We did a similar trip last year. We flew into Madrid (3), Cordoba (1), Seville (3) and Granada (3) and flew home from Malaga. If I was adding a day or two it would be to Seville and maybe a day trip to Arco.

Granada is a minimum of 2 nights. Some love it and would recommend at least 3 nights but I wouldn't spend more than 3. Cordoba is certainly worth 1 night. Sevilla is at least 3 nights. Have you been to Toledo? If not, plan to spend at least a day there and best is an overnight. Easy day trip from Madrid though. You might consider a night or two in one of the white hill towns. As to order of the three cities, they form a sort of triangle so it doesn't really matter.

Thank you both! We have not been to Toledo. That sounds like a good option to add that day trip. Is it easy to rent a car in Granada to go explore other small towns in the area?
