Have you checked out RS Amsterdam Guide Book yet? It has some recommendations that you may find useful as we have in our several stays there.

I had a lovely dinner at Lieve Belgisch. It's a Belgian restaurant in Amsterdam. I think Rick Recommends it. I can't remember if that is where I heard of it. There are actually three restaurants. I ate at the one on the main floor. It was delicious. The Belgian beers were really good! Pam
