Sooo...we are ready for a different view for Christmas...
Please Talk to me about places to stay in Amsterdam and Berlin (we will find a self cater in Paris---do you have advice)
Please also advise things to see, and safety (anti-americanism) for a family traveling during the holidays in northern europe--(boys ages 11 an 14 so no drugs and no porn Amsterdam please)
We will probably will fly into one city and use rail between major metro areas.
We haven't been in France in 10 years, and we were at that time disappointed by how many churches in Provence were closed as compared to Italy and also how shabby the self catering homes of the Brits that we rented were so poorly kept/musty and one in Provence was horribly disaapointing,,,
So againm we are looking at Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin and a holiday trip ...
I would appreciate all candid views...and if you have a better portal than say Paris or Amsterdam--let us know...we are flying out of the se of the usa
