Which non-food cruise would you recommend? Two years ago we took a boat that was docked near the train station. We spent most of the cruise in the harbor and very little time on the canals. This year we want a nighttime cruise.
there is one by heineken. no food on board just beer, it wonders around the canal for about 1.5hr. not sure if it has night time rides, but i took a ride around 7 or 730 last time when i was there.
We took the Candlelight cruise, which departed from near the train station, went through several canals, and included a stop for a walking tour through the Red Light district. It included wine and cheese. I thought it was nice and worthwhile.
We took a nighttime cruise out of the Club Boom Chicago run by an ex-pat. Small boat, max about 10 people, the more people the cheaper the price. Can't remember what we paid, might have been 15 euro as there were only 3 of us. Brought our wine, cheese and we were able to go into some of the smaller canals as the boat is small. About an hour and a half.
He was very good explaining things and gave us choices as to what we wanted to see. You can probably find them on internet under Boom Chicago Amsterdam.
