April 17-26 lodging in area close to transportation to Keukenhof Gardens Amsterdam. We are in late 60's and need room for two and prefer little or no stairs. Budget. Thanks.

Hi Peggy. Check out the Quentin Arrive Hotel and Frederic Rent-A-Bike. The QAH runs about 90 euros per night for a double room and is a 5-minute walk from Centraal Station where you can catch trams and buses. Frederic has a number of properties - I stayed at Frederic's Parents' Place for 70 euros a night for a double room, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. I'm not sure if either of these places have elevators. Unless you book at a more modern hotel like Ibis, you might run into a problem with stairs. But these are worth a shot, if you can get a room on the first or second floor.
