Hey everyone,
My wife and I are going to be in Amsterdam in a few weeks. Does anyone know of a good bike route that would get us outside the city? We would like to keep it under 15-20km. Thanks.

The TI can help you with a route. There is very nice biking north of the city, on the other side of the Amstel. A free ferry will take you across.
I did a ride there years ago, on a recommended route from the TI. it was one of the highlights of my trip.
Of course, everyplace there is flat!

That isn't a very long ride (9-12 miles) and can be done in under an hour. What are you wanting to see? There are many beautiful rides in the area but it really depends on what you want to see and if you are willing to ride a bit more.
