Can anyone recommend a centrally located B & B that is reasonably priced, fairly quiet and clean.

I love the Hotel Prinsenhof. They have a web address, just look them up :) Clean, friendly, and while centrally located (810 Prinsengracht Canal), it is still far enough away to get you out of the tourist ring and into the local Amsterdam. They also had a wonderful breakfast: coffee, tea, toast, boiled eggs, cheese, meats, all you can eat, in a lovely little dining area. 80 Euro for a double. I enjoyed Hotel Keizershof, more a B&B than hotel. it is in Ricks book and has a great brfast too.
