A friend just asked me to help her look for an apartment in Amsterdam for 4 nights in March. She wants to be in the inner ring, perhaps in the Jordaan area. Needs to sleep three, one adult and two teenagers. In the 130 euro a night range. Any suggestions? I know the names of various agencies that rent apartments, I am looking for specific suggestions. Thanks!
My mistake. She is willing to spend up to 180 euros (about $250.) a night. Will consider one bedroom.
I can't tell you from personal experience yet, Maybe this isn't specific enough, but I have been looking a bit for a apt in Amsterdam for April. Many are filling up with it being tulip season March thru May. I just booked this one thru VRBO. http://www.vrbo.com/369815 Danny has many great reviews and his prices seem reasonable for Amsterdam. He is quick to respond to emails too. I hope we booked right and good luck to your friend.
Oh, I forgot, we are paying 150 euro a night for 2 adults, 2 kids.
It's 190 euros but I love Bed and Breakfast Batavia. It's just 2 rooms with connecting door, 1 bigger than the other, but both with private bath. no cooking facilities (including microwave) tho, but they do have a fridge. Breakfast is in your room and great. Owners are great. Good residential area along a smaller canal, 10 min to Anne Frank House. I felt very safe there.
Boogaard's; in Jordaan, quiet street but close to great restaurants; walk to the sites. Great breakfast
Thanks! I will pass the information along.
