We leave for Paris at the end of the month and later will rent a car in Tours, stay in Amboise, and then head to Sarlat for 3 days, then Bordeaux to leave the car. Does anyone know the best driving route from Amboise to Sarlat? And Sarlat to Bordeaux? And, while in amboise, best 3 castles, and in Dordogne best sights... i've already booked the Peche de merle, nothing else takes reservations.

I've done that drive.. it's super easy. Use viamichelin.com for routes and useful info. My favorite chateau is Chenonceau. Love it and especially the grounds.
