So many towns to choose from ...Riquewehr, Ribeauville, Obernai etc. Does anyone have a favorite to recommend?

I really liked Riquewihr and Eguisheim. Both are quite small. If you are into castles at all, I also enjoyed Koenigsbourg Castle outside of Orschwiller. If you happen go to Eguisheim and take Rick's walking tour around the city, make sure to stop by the sausage shop on the right as you walk up the hill during the first half of the walk. The guy runs it out of the back of his home. Real good stuff.

I'll second Riquewihr. Here's a nice little hotel we stayed in.
