Alsace Region - Experience w/Les Circuits d'Alsace

I am arriving in Colmar this Saturday and I'll be traveling solo for this portion of my trip. I'd like to do some kind of tour of the local villages if possible. I saw RS recommends this minivan tour ' Les Circuits d'Alsace'. I was wondering if anyone on here has experience with them and if you have thoughts on how I should proceed. I was thinking I could email now and see if they have a group where they have room for 1 (since it's a minimum of 2) or just wait until I get there and have my hotel help or make other suggestions. I'm only there for 3 nights but I'd really like do a half day tour if possible. Thoughts?

I decided to make note of what I did do just in case someone is searching the archives. I emailed the company to do a minivan tour and explained I was traveling alone and asked if I could be "fit" into a previously scheduled tour for 1 of 2 days. They came back with the options of which tours were available on which days and I have now confirmed which one I'll do. They are very quick to respond which is nice. Question - they explained I have to pay in cash which is fine and that it included the driver. The half day tour is 56 Euro - what is a good tip for one of these tours?

I was in Colmar last year and took a wine tour it was amazing, we went through tons of medieval villages and there was lots of wine sampling to be had. I stayed in Hotel St. Martin if you haven't booked your Hotel yet.

Thanks Deborah! I'm very much looking forward to it. I'm actually staying at Hotel le Rapp (arriving Saturday). Did you tip on the tour you took?

We will be in the Alsace region in June and just driving around with our own car. I would love to hear where your tour goes and what little villages they visit. Would you mind sharing the itinerary with me?

You can actually just got their website (it's in RS's book or you can just google it). They list their itineraries there - I'm doing their "RV2".
