I am going to be staying in Alsace for 2 nights, (possibly 3--is it worth the third?) And staying in Colmar. I would really like to do some biking between the villages, namely Turckheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, etc. I expect to do this loop in one day of biking, starting early in the morning of course. I am trying to find places to rent a bike though and I'm having difficulty. I was hoping to rent in Colmar. Rick Steves France book has an address of a place in Tuckerheim, but the information on that is limited.
Does anyone know where a good place to rent a bike is? And/Or do you know about the bus system in between the towns? I will not have a car. Any information on this region is helpful. I appreciate it!
