Allowable luggage size on buses to/from spanish airports?

Hi,
The Madrid airport bus guide says luggage that fits the
cabin baggage measurements is allowed on buses plying between
the city and airport. Is that so or are larger bags allowed
in practice? Thanks,

you can take subway from airport to town, no limit on bag size and no traffic jam.
