Any ideas about a budget hotel close to the airport in Alicante, Spain? We are coming in late and just need a stop over before we go to Benidorm. When we get to Benidorm, we would like to stay in a basic resort hotel (not too expensive). I will take any suggestions you have. Thx

There'a an inexpensive Ibis hotel (part of the Accor chain) that doesn't appear to be too far from the airport, going for 39 Euro/night. Check http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/fichehotel/gb/ibi/3200/fiche_hotel.shtml. You can e-mail them at [email protected] to check whether they have airport transfers, etc. Sorry, no recommendations for Benidorm.
