Just go to the Alhambra website and get your tickets there. That's what we did. It was easy. You have to be sure that when you arrive at the Alhambra to get your tickets you must use the same credit card you used to purchase them. We set our time for first thing in the morning before the crowds. Do a search on the site for the Alhambra and you will get all sorts of useful, helpful information. Happy travels. Devra

Hi, We are thinking to buy general ticket during the day, and one question about night ticket. Which one is better, either night palace or night garden tickets?

I don't know about the gardens, but the palaces are magical at night.

Beware. While the palace is indeed very nice at night, you only see part of it, and it's more about the atmosphere than specifics of the palace (only certain parts are lit, so you miss a lot). The audioguide really enhanced my daytime palace visit, and it wasn't available at night. I did both a day "full" visit and a night palace-only visit, and I didn't regret this. But I would definitely have regretted not seeing the palace by day and did not find a night visit to be an acceptable substitute for seeing it by day. When I went, there was no nighttime gardens tour.

It's years since we went, but we did both day and night. The night was a big disappointment, with some extra floor lamps around shadowy interiors (watch out for the cords!), and a few permanent overhead floodlights left over from the Franco era. Unless someone gives a more recent and more favorable report, skip the night tour. Concentrate on getting a dinner reservation at a "Carmen" restaurant with a view of the Alhambra from a distance. If your budget doesn't permit dinner, settle for the free view from the Mirador de San Nicolas.
