How far in advance do we need to get tickets? There are problems with the website using US credit cards. Is it possible to do a few days beforehand when we are already in Spain? We will be in Spain end April.

It is a very rare occasion I see on forums any difficulty with purchase of Alhambra tickets. I certainly doubt it is because you are using a US card. Is this your first overseas transaction and did you inform your finance house - quite sure it was not them that blocked the transaction? I suggest you try other credit or debit cards to avoid disappointment for your preferred entry, (e.g. Thursday 25th April - no morning entries now available). Your alternative, if they will do it for you, is asking your accommodation to purchase, as there is an allocation to the city accommodations (advise the time you wish to enter the Nasrid palaces ).
