Alhambra & Andalusia Tips?

I am also still planning my trip to Spain. I have 6 days and 6 nights to travel from Barcelona/Costa Brava and back, and am starting with a flight to Granada.

I will be arriving in Granada at 7 pm to a beautiful small accommodation in the Albaycin area with views of the Alhambra. I have 2 nights reserved there. Should I head up to the Nasrim Palace that night, and head back again the next morning? Or what might be the best use of my time before departing the third day?

After my 6th night, I fly from Seville back to Costa Brava. I wish to explore some of the countryside, the Pueblo Blancos, and at least part of a day on an unspoiled big sandy beach, if there's such a thing on the Costa Del Sol. What might be the best route in those four days to catch some of the urban highlights but also experience rural life a bit down there? Would a car help me get around better down there during that short a time frame?

Thanks.

We purchased our tickets to the Alhambra online before we left the states and got to the Alhambra before it opened in the morning. It was perfect timing and we felt we had the place to ourselves for the first hour or so. I'd recommend it although it can be early! We enjoyed Granada and are sure you will, too. Lots to see there.

Thank you, Dawn. So catch the free area at night, then go back first thing in the morning?
