Because I love shopping at Aldi here in the US and I have this facination to see an Aldi in Germany, and Colonge is our first stop in Germany is there an Aldi near by the train station? Thanks, Wendy

FYI there are many museums near hauptbauhof as well as the Cathederal you will have a fun day. I like Aldi also

I'm with you Wendy. My first stop in Germany is Aldi. Every time I go! I sorely miss it in Canada. It seems that the link above is the Aldi closest to the train station, about 900m

Using the Aldi-Sued website the nearest seems to be 750 metres away in the Altstadt at ............. ALDI SÜD Köln-Altstadt-Nord Richmodstraße 31 50667 Köln-Altstadt-Nord Öffnungszeiten: Montag - Freitag 08:00 - 20:00 Samstag 08:00 - 20:00 ........ there are also 2 in the NeuStadt within a km. ..... so the question is, do you do the Aldi first and schlep the goodies or do you do the Dom and the Roman museum keeping your Aldi fix for later?
