I believe what Bets was referring to was an apartment rental, not a B&B. I'm afraid I can't be of any help, either. My B&B experience is all in Ireland and the UK.

We stayed in a wonderful B & B in Paris last year. Google Les Toits de Paris. It was in the 15th androssiment, about a 10 minute walk to the Metro. We enjoyed the experience of living in a Parisian neighbourhood. The owners Matthieu and Sophie are wonderful hosts. A wealth of knowledge, naturally, and the breakfasts are truly first class.
