Any advice on how to get from Albufeira, Portugal to Granada (or Seville), Spain? I recently discovered that there are no trains that go from southern Portugal into Spain, and going by bus looks very confusing! Any advice appreciated...
I am researching a similar trip and am also disheartened by the lack of connections between the two countries. I am considering flying, though I will likely be leaving from Lisbon. Check and see if there are any air connections between Faro in the Algarve and Seville or Granada.
'going by bus looks very confusing!' from 'southern Portugal into Spain' This should be all you both need to clarify - http://www.algarvebus.info/001.htm
Faro/Algarve has no direct flights to anywhere in Spain.
Boo! I shouldn't have said anything, but I was too tired to check on it myself. I hope the bus site is helpful. And I do know you can fly from Lisbon but you may not want to. It's not really easy to do both countries in one trip, I am learning. Not as easy as you'd expect, anyway.
