Can anyone recommend a car service to provide transport from the airport to Paris? We're not interested in taking the train and would rather have a car service than a taxi. Thanks!
I used a shared shuttle bus through paris shuttle and it cost me 18 euro. I was there a couple of weeks ago for the firt time and it was nice not having to worrying about figuring out the metro right away. You pay extra if you don't want to share, but everyone on my shuttle had hotels near each other.
A taxi is the most reliable form of car service between CDG and Paris, the metered cost will be between 45-55 euros, plus one euro per suitcase. Taxis are taken from manned taxi stand and are fully regulated. I have used a private car service twice, and personally had no problem with them, it was www.shuttle-inter.com/ . The cost was more, but I arrived during a transportation job action and figured taxis would be swamped.. and another time i have prearranged a pick up to get to airport as we were leaving so early in am. Could have called a taxi , but taxis put their meter on before they arrive when called so figured this would work out about same price. The good thing about inter-shuttle is they do not charge you a penny till you arrive, and you do not have to give them your credit card info, so if for anyreason they don't show, you simply take a taxi, no money lost.
